Abstract (en)

[origin: WO0230239A2] The invention relates to an improved, horizontal flap arrangement, in particular for a box let into a table and accessible from above characterised by the following features: - two flap elements are provided, which are coupled together by the formation of a jointed connection (27), in the region of the mutually facing inner edges (25) thereof and - at least one hinge axis (21) of one of the both flap elements (11) runs in a curved track or guide (23), on the top edge perpendicular to the hinge axis (21), in a displaceable manner, such that, on hinging of the at least both flap elements (11) from the closed position to the open position thereof, both of the mutually co-operating flap elements (11) may be folded together by lifting the jointed connection regions (27) thereof and by reducing the separation between the both hinge axes (21) thereof.
