[origin: WO0229246A1] The invention relates to a fuel-injection valve for internal combustion engines, comprising a valve body (1), in which a valve member (12) is located in a bore (10) so that it can be displaced longitudinally against a closing force. The orifice of at least one injection opening (24), through which fuel can be injected into a combustion chamber of the internal combustion engine, is controlled by the longitudinal displacement of the valve member (12). A closing spring (32), configured as a helical spring, is pretensioned in a spring chamber (30) in the valve body (1). One end of the closing spring (32) abuts a fixed stop, whereas the other end bears at least indirectly on the valve member (12), thus generating the closing force. The closing spring (32) is secured in the spring chamber (30) against a rotation about its longitudinal axis, in such a way that the closing force is not modified by a rotation of the closing spring (32) about its longitudinal axis.
