[origin: EP1325685A2] The machine for making filter strip for cigarettes has a conveyor (3,4,6-9) to feed the filter strand (2) using an air pressure drive nozzle (16-18). There is at least one suction head (38) mounted with its suction side on the conveyor feed path and connected to the nozzle. The suction head can have a filter (36) and a cleaner. Claims include a method of feeding filter material using the machine.
