[origin: EP1325996A2] The motor drive for a window or sliding bay has a rack (6) attached to the sliding frame and engaged by a pinion (9) driven by a motor (8). The motor is mounted in a tube (7) of which the length is adjustable and the ends having adjustable ferrules (12,15). The ferrules have fixings for the outer frame (3) or an adjacent support.
