Abstract (en)

The gas apparatus consists of a burner (2) fed by a main injector in the form of a housing (4) with an outlet orifice (3) and an inlet coupling (5) for connecting to a gas source (B), The housing contains a secondary injector (6) with a smaller outlet orifice (7) for a second gas (propane) at a higher vapour pressure than the first (butane). The burner has a vertical axis, and there is a gap (8) and seal (10) between the cylindrical shell and the secondary injector, which has a polygonal cross-section.
