[origin: EP1326484A2] The device has a half-bridge inverter with transistors (T1,T2) and a load circuit coupling between the transistors includes a primary transformer winding via which a load current flows. Drive circuits (1,2) of transistors includes an integration unit that switches off the transistor on reaching a preset value, and two voltage threshold value switches, where a threshold of one switch is less than that of other switch.
