[origin: WO0228439A2] The invention relates to a DNA complex containing at least one DNA molecule and coding for at least one therapeutically effective protein having cytotoxic activity; and a transferrin-conjugated polycation, the zeta potential thereof being </=+15mV. The complex, in which a high proportion of transferrin shields the positive charge, enables therapeutic DNA to be transported to tumours in a targeted manner during the systemic treatment of tumour diseases.
