[origin: WO0233264A1] The invention relates to a fan installation for a cooling system of a motor vehicle, comprising at least two fans (10, 20) which respectively have an electric fan motor (14, 24) arranged in a separate housing (12, 22) and a fan wheel (16, 26) which can be driven by said motor. The fan installation also comprises a control unit for operating the fan motors (14, 24). The aim of the invention is to improve one such fan installation in such a way that the design thereof is as simple and cost-effective (12) as possible. In order to achieve this, the control unit is arranged in the housing of one of the fans (10) and operates both the fan motor (14, 24) which is arranged in this housing (12) and the fan motor (24) of the other fan (20).
