Covering element (1) comprises a base body (10) having an upper side (12) and a lower side, and a lever arrangement having at least one lever (20, 21) for raising the covering element. The covering element is placed on the bearing surface of a recessed seat (50). The lever is manually pivoted out of a position of rest from the upper side of the covering element relative to the base body with a first end so that a second end of the lever raises the covering element. Preferred Features: The lever is pivotally positioned on the base body. In its position of rest the lever lies flush with the upper side of the covering element. The lever is provided with a handle (22).

Ein Abdeckelement, insbesondere ein Gullydeckel für die Abwassertechnik, weist einen Grundkörper (10) auf, wobei das Abdeckelement (1) auf eine Auflage eines vertieften Sitzes (50) auflegbar ist. Es ist eine Hebelanordnung (20-23) mit mindestens einem Hebel (20,21) vorgesehen, wobei der mindestens eine Hebel mit einem ersten Ende (20A,21A) von der Oberseite des Abdeckelements (1) her manuell aus einer Ruhelage heraus betätigbar und so gegenüber dem Grundkörper (10) verschwenkbar ist, dass ein zweites Ende (20B,21B) des Hebels beim Verschwenken das Abdeckelement anhebt. Der mindestens eine Hebel ist vorzugsweise verschwenkbar an dem Grundkörper gelagert. <IMAGE>
