[origin: WO0232691A1] A device (1) for outputting slips of paper, receiving a stack (S) of loose slips (Z) and removing individual slips (Z) from the stack (S) has a receiving container (2) whose outline corresponds to the shape of the slips, and which forms an upper loading opening (3) for introducing a stack (S) and a side removal opening (4) for taking hold of and removing individual slips (Z). The aim of the invention is to provide a simple means of removing individual slips (Z) from the stack (S). To this end, the removal opening (4) extends across the entire side of the container and two support slots (6) are provided in the adjoining side walls (5), respectively, these support slots facing each other, extending upwards and being open in an upward direction. A separating roll (7) is mounted in the slots by means of shaft stubs (8) extending across the support slots (6) in such a way that said roller can rotate and is displaceable along the support slots (6). The removal opening is provided with edge strips (11) on the side edges, these strips projecting forwards in the direction of removal (E) and being tilted towards each other.
