[origin: FR2815936A1] The invention o concerns a binding device comprising a working table (12) for receiving the products to be bound (16), a reel of adhesive tape (66), an arm (24) mobile between a high position and a low position, said arm having a free end (30), an upper head (32) mounted at the arm (24) free end, a lower head (46) mounted beneath the working table (12). It comprises means for reeling off a length of adhesive tape from the reel (66) prior to binding the products (16) so as to constitute in advance an adhesive tape reserve, said reserve capable of being restored to be wound around the products (16) without any significant tensile stress on the adhesive tape (75). Said means preferably comprise at least a roller (74) mobile between a position bringing it close to the fixed roller (72) and a position keeping it away from said fixed roller.
