[origin: WO0229121A1] The invention relates to a device for atomising melts, in particular slag melts. Said device comprises a slag tundish (1) with an outlet (6), into which a lance (7) for a propulsion jet opens and to which a refrigeration chamber (11) is connected. A guide body (9) is located in the vicinity of the nozzle mouth of the lance (7) for the propulsion jet, said guide body deviating the propulsion jet in a radial direction. The refrigeration chamber (11) is formed by an annular chamber that surrounds the outlet (6), extending radially outwards from the guide body (9) and is connected to an evacuation channel (14).
