Abstract (en)

[origin: DE10052861A1] The invention relates to a dosing reservoir (1) which can be placed freely in a washing drum or similar, for holding and releasing a viscous, especially paste-type laundry treatment agent. The system comprises a housing (2) which preferably consists of a plastic material and which has a holding chamber (3) for the laundry treatment agent; at least one sealable filling opening (4) for the laundry treatment agent, leading into the holding chamber (3); and several rinsing openings (5) allowing the entry or exit of a washing liquid into or out of the housing (2). The laundry treatment agent is gradually rinsed out by the washing liquid during a washing cycle. The reservoir is characterised in that the volume of the holding chamber (3) is variable according to certain limits, in that the holding chamber (3) can be expanded to a set volume by being filled with the laundry treatment agent and in that said holding chamber (3) can be compressed to a minimum volume by restoring forces inherent to the reservoir and/or especially by mechanical influences from outside as the laundry treatment agent exits the holding chamber (3). The invention also relates to a dosing device with which a dosing reservoir of this type can be filled and to a dosing system consisting of the dosing device and the dosing reservoir.
