[origin: WO0233193A1] A clip for attaching a replacement slate to a batten is described. The clip is attached to a replacement slate by means of a pop-rivet. The clip has raised projections which are provided to grip the slate so as to prevent relative rotation between the clip and the slate. The clip has a point which bites into the underlying batten and clamps the slate to the batten.
