Abstract (en)
[origin: WO0231353A1] The invention relates to a fuel injection valve (1) for fuel injection systems of internal combustion engines. Said fuel injection valve comprises a valve needle (3) and a valve closing body (4), which is interactively connected to the valve needle and which interacts with a valve seat surface (6) inside a valve seat body (5) in order to effect a tight seat. The fuel injection valve also comprises at least one turbulence-generating element that is arranged upstream from the tight seat inside the valve seat body (5). The turbulence-generating element consists of one or more turbulence channels (36), which is/are open toward the upstream side (33) of the valve seat body (5) and which is/are inserted into said upstream side (33) of the valve seat body (5).
