The desk or worktable can be adjusted to a sloping position. A strip (8) is fitted on its front edge to retain objects on it. This is held in position by magnetic studs (16, 17) which are fixed on to a strip (18) made from a magnetisable metal or which is itself magnetic.

Ein Schreib- oder Arbeitstisch weist eine Tischplatte (3), die insbesondere schräg stellbar ist, und eine Anschlagleiste (8) auf, die in einer Anschlagstellung im dem Benutzer zugewandten vorderen Bereich der Tischplatte (3) angeordnet ist und mit ihrer Längsrichtung in Längsrichtung des Tisches verläuft und eine oberhalb der Oberseite (4) der Tischplatte (3) angeordnete Anschlagkante (10) zum Verhindern des Abrutschens von auf der Tischplatte (3) befindlichen Gegenständen bildet. Die Anschlagleiste (8) wird in ihrer Anschlagstellung durch Magnetkraft wegnehmbar oder wegschiebbar auf der Tischplatte (3) gehalten. <IMAGE>
