[origin: EP1329323A2] The method for producing an ink container involves introduction of one or more porous ink absorption elements into a container with at least one ink chamber. The total volume of the elements, being in dry state less than the volume of the container, increases when these elements come into contact with the ink. An Independent claim is also included for a resultant ink container.
