The support and holder consists of a panel (1) of a rigid material such as plastic-coated cardboard, with a central folding section (4) perpendicular to its lengthwise edge and having dimensions that correspond to the reading matter such as a newspaper. The panel can be equipped with fastenings for the reading matter, and in one variant of the design it can be made in four quarters with two pairs of perpendicular folding sections.

Dispositif pour la lecture d'un support d'informations, tel un journal (6), dans lequel le dispositif comporte une plaque (1) réalisée en matériau rigide, avec un bord longitudinal où une bande de pliage est réalisée, passant essentiellement par le milieu de la plaque (1) perpendiculairement au bord longitudinal, les dimensions de la plaque (1) correspondant essentiellement à celles du support d'informations et le bord longitudinal de la plaque (1) étant pourvu de moyens permettant la fixation du support d'informations. Le dispositif peut également être relié par le bord longitudinal de la plaque (1), au moyen d'une première bande de pliage, au bord longitudinal d'une seconde plaque, une seconde bande de pliage (4) étant réalisée passant essentiellement par le milieu des plaques, perpendiculairement au bord longitudinal. L'invention fait ainsi office de jaquette rigide permettant la lecture d'un support d'informations dans toutes les positions possibles et empêchant la dissociation du support d'informations. <IMAGE>
