[origin: EP1329561A2] A method for fitting a flexible waste pipe, e.g. to a wash basin or bath, has an adaptor onto which the cut end of the waster pipe is pushed. The push fit connection is secured by a slight conical profile and by retaining grips on the adaptor. The connection is further secured by integral O rings on the adaptor. Adaptors can be fitted to each end enabling the waste pipe to be cut to any length.
