A floating cover for a swimming pool is made up of non-hollow profiles which are joined to one another by pivotable joints, and consist of plastic materials with a closed-pore structure. The non-hollow profiles forming a swimming pool cover consist of polyethylene, polypropylene or PVC with a closed-pore structure.

Anwendung von neuen Materialen für die Herstellung von Vollstab-Profile (statt Hohlprofile) zur Anfertigung von "schwimmenden" Abdeckungen nach den Aufroll-System (1) im Bereich der Schwimmbäder. Diese "schwimmenden" Abdeckungen können auch ausser dem Bereich der Schwimmbäder Anwendung finden wie: offene Behälter und Wannen sei es für die Lebensmittelindustrie oder, da auch wegen seiner Säure-und Laugebeständigkeit, für Industrie. <IMAGE>
