[origin: EP1329598A1] Pressure regulating/housing ventilating valve comprises a housing (18) into which a membrane (24) moving in the vertical direction can be admitted. The membrane is received on fixing sites (25) on the housing and is made from a thermoplastic material having a low wall thickness with a deformation region (38) extending in the radial direction. Preferred Features: The wall thickness of the membrane is 0.3-0.6 mm. The membrane is made from a thermoplastic material in the radial direction from the center (32) to the periphery in corrugated form.
