Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1330970A2] The clamp holder of a carrier base (T) is used for detachable fixture to a strut (S) with an U-shaped configuration. There is a semi-circular collar (1) together with two shanks (12, 13) between which is a groove (14) and in which the strut is held in-situ by a clamping piece (5) whose clamping force can be adjusted. The U-shaped collar has, on one side, the carrier base's collar flange (10), whilst the other side is a projecting extension (11) that is enclosed by an U-shaped counter flange (2) that is screwed together with the collar flange. The collar flange and counter flange may comprise screw receivers (30) and screw channels (25) for complimentary self-cutting screws. The collar, at the free ends of the shanks, may have recesses (15) to hold the ends the clasping strips (UF) of the carrier base.
