[origin: EP1330977A2] The multifunctional terminal (1) for external suction tubes (2) of vacuum-operated electrical domestic appliances comprises a tubular body (3) forming a spear-shaped mouth (4) at a distal end (5) and a cylindrical mouth (6) at the opposite, proximal end (7) capable of being coupled by pressure-fitting to the head of the said external suction tube (2), at least one pair of parallel guides (8) formed in diametrically opposite positions on the external surface of the said tubular body (3), at least one cleaning accessory (9) comprising an active end (11) and, opposite to the latter, a tubular base (12) provided with means (13) for twist-and-slide coupling to the said parallel guides (8) for longitudinal sliding therein between the said proximal end (7) and distal end (5), and vice versa, of the said tubular body (3) and the rotation of the said accessory (9) at the distal end (5) for the coaxial fitting of the said base (12) on the said distal end (5) of the said tubular body (3), and means (14) for retaining the said cleaning accessory (9) in the substantially proximal position of non-use of the said guides (8). <IMAGE>
