Abstract (en)
An elastically flexible membrane, made of compressible resilient material is inserted between an internal surface of an orifice defining plate and the opposite surface of an insert. At its centre, the membrane has a bell-shaped dome, which abuts against the internal surface of the orifice defining plate. When liquid is dispensed, the liquid pressure forces the membrane to deform, allowing the liquid to be dispensed. When liquid pressure ceases, the membrane regains its original shape, hereby sealing the orifice. <IMAGE>
