[origin: EP1331168A1] The procedure consists of opening the cover (10) and folding it in accordion pleats on vertical support bars (12) before stretching it horizontally so its dimensions are greater than the load. Prior to stretching the parameters of the film material and load are calculated, and the supports are positioned so that the cover is applied to the load with half the stretch force. The cover is stretched with the aid of a carriage that controls the support bars, and after stretching the cover is fitted over the load vertically while still on the supports and unfolded in stages.
