Abstract (en)
The device includes a guide surface (46) with a sheet transport (48) for conveying sheets to a engageable sheet stop (96). A sheet sensor (112) near to the entrance to a sheet transport (48). A control device controls the sheet transport, the stop and the bundle transport. The sheet transport is controlled, based on the outputs from the sensor which represents the front and back edge of a sheet, so that the front edge of a subsequent sheet abuts the surface of the immediately previous sheet, and they are conveyed together to the sheet stop.

Eine Sammelvorrichtung zum Bilden und Ausgeben eines Bündels von blattförmigen Gegenständen wie Banknoten, Scheckformularen und dergleichen, die der Sammelvorrichtung (32) einzeln von einer vorgeschalteten ersten Transportvorrichtung zugeführt werden, umfaßt eine Führungsfläche (46) für die Blätter, einen der Führungsfläche (46) zugeordneten Blatttransport (48) zum Transportieren der Blätter entlang der Führungsfläche (46) bis zu einem ausrückbaren Blattanschlag (96), einen Bündeltransport (70) mit zur Transportrichtung (A) des Blatttransportes (48) paralleler Transportrichtung, einen Blattsensor (112) nahe dem Eintrittsende des Blatttransportes (48) und eine Steuervorrichtung zur Steuerung des Blatttransportes (48), des Blattanschlages (96) und des Bündeltransportes (70), wobei der Blatttransport (48) in Abhängigkeit von Signalen des Blattsensors (112), welche die Vorlaufkante und die Nachlaufkante des jeweils einlaufenden Blattes repräsentieren, so gesteuert wird, dass das jeweils nachfolgende Blatt beim Einlauf in die Sammelvorrichtung (32) mit seiner Vorlaufkante gegen die Fläche des jeweils unmittelbar vorausgegangenen Blattes trifft und anschließend zusammen mit diesem in Richtung auf den Blattanschlag (96) transportiert wird. <IMAGE>
