Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1331315A1] The drain unit (1) is in the middle of a square frame (2) with an outer border made of strips of metal (11) set on edge. Regular hexagonal cells inside the frame are made of metal strips (12) set on edge. A square grating surrounds the central aperture which is in a square fitting. There are cutouts (14) in the edges of frame members (13) where they cross at the corners of the square drain fitting. Vertical legs (10) extend down into the ground from the frame.
