Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1331333A2] The push rod (1), for window or door locks, has at least one longitudinal slit (7) with a distance piece through it. A spring (8) grips around the distance piece, e.g. as an oval or elongated closed ring, with no sliding movement between the distance piece and the slit. It has a side bulge (9) to lie at the side flanks of the slit, and give a temporary holding action on the push rod between projections (10) at the sides of the slit.
