Abstract (en)
Gas incandescent body comprises an oxide structure contained on a ceramic base. The structure is a mixture of yttrium oxide, cerium oxide and a further oxide. The mixture further contains beryllium oxide for stabilizing during production of the oxide structure. An Independent claim is also included for a process for the production of a gas incandescent body. Preferred Features: The oxide structure contains at least 97.6% yttrium oxide, maximum 1.8% cerium oxide and maximum 0.6% beryllium oxide. The oxide structure is reinforced by a magnesium/aluminum salt mixture in the fixing region with the ceramic base.

Das an einem Keramiksockel gehaltene Oxidgerüst eines thoriumfreien Gasglühkörpers auf der Basis von Yttriumoxid enthält neben Ceroxid als weiteren Bestandteil Berylliumoxid. Zur Herstellung des Oxidgerüstes wird ein Kunstseidengewebe mit einem Salzgemisch aus >97,5 Gew.-% Yttriumnitrat und <1,5 Gew.-% Cernitrat sowie <1,0 Gew.-% Berylliumnitrat beschichtet, das nach Umwandlung in die Hydroxidform in einem Brennprozeß in die Oxidform überführt wird. Das gleichmäßig geformte, mechanisch stabile Oxidgerüst weist bei gleichbleibender Lichtleistung eine lange Lebensdauer auf.
