Abstract (en)
[origin: WO0238950A1] The invention relates to a fuel injection system comprising at least one fuel injection valve (1, 19) having an inlet section (4, 22) and a fuel distribution line (2, 20) provided with a connection piece (3,21) for each fuel injection valve (1, 19). An annular seal support (9,27) is provided so that the inlet section (4, 22) can be sealingly connected to the connection piece (3, 21), said support cooperating with a first sealing element (13, 32) in order to seal the seal support (9, 27) in relation to a front surface (6, 24) of the inlet section (4, 22) and also cooperating with a second sealing element (17, 36) in order to seal the seal support (9, 27) in relation to the connection piece (3, 21). A guide section(5, 23) of the inlet section (4, 22) penetrates the seal support (9, 27), and a security ring (10, 28) on the inlet section (4, 22) retains the seal support (9, 27) between the security ring (10, 28) and the front surface (6, 24) of the inlet section (4, 22) so that it is moveable in a radial direction.
