[origin: EP1332694A1] The table has a circular surface with many different segments of surface forming the main table top. A first table segment (7) and second table segment (13) form a ring on the outside of the table top, and an inner area (9,15) has a smaller radius and fits inside the outer ring. In the unused state the unused parts of the table top can be stored by rotating them underneath the main sections using guides and a lifting mechanism. A central foot supports the table surface.
