[origin: EP1332695A1] The folding table consists of a support (3) with two mobile panels (1, 2) that can be moved relative to it between horizontal and vertical positions. Each panel forms a structure of reversible configuration with the support to give deployed and folded positions, and the system has locking assemblies (6, 11, 17; 7, 12, 20) that fix the panels in the required position. The locking assemblies are controlled by a rack and pinion mechanism beneath each of the panels.
