Abstract (en)
The system has processing stations along a processing path with a transport arrangement. The stations have an auxiliary transport device(s) with separate adjustable speed drives and processing elements. A detector arrangement in at least one processing station produces a detector output signal if it detects a processing result outside a defined range. A controler controls the processing elements and drives to restore results to within range. The system has processing stations (6,14) arranged along a processing path with a transport arrangement (2). The stations have at least one auxiliary transport device (6) with separate adjustable speed drives and processing elements (19). A detector arrangement (12,23,25) in at least one processing station produces a detector output signal if it detects a processing result outside a defined range. A controler (31) controls the processing elements and drives to restore the results to the defined range. AN Independent claim is also included for the following: a method of controling an inventive system.

Bei einem Postbearbeitungssystem mit längs eines Bearbeitungsweges (1) angeordneten Bearbeitungsstationen (6,14) wird eine im wesentlichen selbsttätige Einstellung der Bearbeitungsstationen (6,14) auf eine resultierende optimale Arbeitsgeschwindigkeit des Gesamtsystems dadurch erreicht, daß in mindestens einer der Bearbeitungsstationen (6,14) Detektormittel (12,23,25) angeordnet werden, welche dann ein Detektorausgangssignal erzeugen, wenn sie ein detektiertes Bearbeitungsergebnis feststellen, welches außerhalb eines vorbestimmten Bereiches liegt, wobei die Detektorausgangssignale auf Steuermittel (31) einwirken, die ihrerseits auf besondere einstellbare Bearbeitungsorgane (19) und/oder gesondert geschwindigkeitseinstellbare Antriebe (8,21,4) der Bearbeitungsstation (6,14) im Sinne einer Rückkehr des detektierten Bearbeitungsergebnisses in den vorbestimmten Bereich einwirken. <IMAGE>
