[origin: EP1332891A1] The system has processing stations along a processing path with a transport arrangement. The stations have an auxiliary transport device(s) with separate adjustable speed drives and processing elements. A detector arrangement in at least one processing station produces a detector output signal if it detects a processing result outside a defined range. A controler controls the processing elements and drives to restore results to within range. The system has processing stations (6,14) arranged along a processing path with a transport arrangement (2). The stations have at least one auxiliary transport device (6) with separate adjustable speed drives and processing elements (19). A detector arrangement (12,23,25) in at least one processing station produces a detector output signal if it detects a processing result outside a defined range. A controler (31) controls the processing elements and drives to restore the results to the defined range.
