[origin: EP1332939A1] The cable carrier (1) includes a support (10) for at least one additional cable support roll (27) for supporting the return run (5) of the pulling cable loop. The cable car or railway has two support cables (2, 3) and a pulling cable loop with a pulling cable (4) and a return cable. The cable carrier comprises a support with at least one cable clamp (11, 13) on opposite sides for engaging with a support cable, as well as having a cable support roll (19) for supporting and guiding the pulling cable.
