Abstract (en)
The difference between the thickness of the support leg (20) and the thickness of the teeth (32) at their base is less than 0.25 mm, preferably no more than 0.15 mm. The ratio of these thicknesses is preferably less than 1.75. One side of the wire is preferably flat (28), with the teeth and support leg in line. The teeth are tapered from leg to tip. Also claimed is a close assembly of such wire with the support legs in contact for use in a comber, especially for wool and a comber equipped with such wire. Preferred Features: The difference of the tooth thickness between support end and tip is 0.1 mm max. At the tip the tooth is 0.1 mm thick. The ratio of tooth height to total height is greater then 0.75. The tooth recess (34) is greater than 0.9 times the tooth height, e.g. 4 mm. The total height is about 5.5 mm.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Sägezahndraht zur Hersellung einer Sägezahn-Ganzstahlgarnitur für eine Kämmaschine und andere im Textilverarbeitungsprozeß verwendete Kämmaschinen, insbesondere für einen Wollkamm, mit einem Fußabschnitt (20) und einem vorzugsweise über eine Fußschulter daran anschließenden Blattabschnitt (30), wobei der Blattabschnitt durch von dem Fußabschnitt abgewandten Rand des Blattabschnittes ausgehende Zahneinschnitte (34) gebildete Sägezähne (32) aufweist. Bei dem erfindungsgemäßen Sägezahndraht beträgt die Differenz zwischen der Fußbreite (b1) und Blattbreite (b2) am Füß weniger als 0,25mm. <IMAGE>
