Abstract (en)
To coat the surface of a moving web (1) with glue, the glue is sprayed (3) on to the web surface, and then it passes directly through a wide nip (10) of the web drying section (2,11) in a papermaking machine. The wide nip is formed by a press unit (5), between a hard roller (6) and a rotating mantle (7). The web is preferably moist, for better glue absorption.

Es werden ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zum Herstellen einer Papierbahn angegeben, bei dem eine Leimbeschichtung auf die Papierbahn (1) aufgetragen und die Papierbahn (1) danach durch eine Presseneinrichtung (5) geleitet wird. Man möchte die Festigkeit der Papierbahn verbessern können. Hierzu leitet man die Papierbahn (1) nach dem Leimauftrag durch einen Breitnip (10). <IMAGE>
