Abstract (en)
At least one of the profiled shells (61, 67) used to form the door (90) has an embossing (90), preferably extending in the shell length direction. The door includes at least one profiled groove for holding a seal. Profiled shells made from a flexible material are joined together to form a door containing a hollow cavity. An Independent claim is also included for a method for making the door, by embossing at least one of the shells, then bending the shell except in the embossed region and then bending the shell about the embossed region, preferably by hand.
