Abstract (en)
The method involves setting the speed of the motor (10) by a control module (8) according to the cooking situation determined by a sensor unit (4,5,7). The control of the motor speed can take place automatically or manually. Switching between automatic and manual control is accomplished via the operation field (11). The speed is set in steps when it is controlled manually and has a continuous or quasi-continuous control when the speed is controlled automatically. An Independent claim is also provided for an extractor hood using the method for the fan motor.

Bei einem Verfahren zur Steuerung eines elektrischen Lüftermotors 10 einer Dunstabzugshaube 1 mit Sensoreinheit 4, 5, 7, Steuermodul 8 und Bedienfeld 11, bei welchem das Steuermodul 8 die Drehzahl des Motors 10 entsprechend einer von der Sensoreinheit 4, 5, 7 festgestellten Kochsituation einstellen kann, kann die Drehzahlsteuerung sowohl automatisch als auch manuell erfolgen, wobei die Schaltung zwischen automatischer und manueller Steuerung über das Bedienfeld 11 erfolgt und bei manueller Regelung die Drehzahl stufenweise eingestellt wird, während sie bei automatischer Regelung kontinuierlich oder quasikontinuierlich eingestellt wird. Eine Dunstabzugshaube 1 zur Durchführung dieses Verfahrens weist einen elektrischen Lüftermotor 10, eine Sensoreinheit 4, 5, 7, ein Steuermodul 8 und ein Bedienfeld 11 auf, wobei das Steuermodul 8 über das Bedienfeld 11 zwischen manuellem und automatischem Betrieb umschaltbar ist und ein Motorregelungsmodul 9 aufweist, dass sowohl zur stufenweisen als auch zur kontinuierlichen bzw. quasikontinuierlichen Regelung der Drehzahl des Lüftermotors 10 geeignet ist. <IMAGE>
