[origin: WO0240788A1] The invention relates to a dispensing device for dispensing an active agent fluid (5) into the flushing water in a toilet bowl (1). Said device comprises a retaining element (2) and an interchangeable storage container (4), housed in the retaining element (2), for the active agent fluid (5), said storage container (4) having an outlet (6) that is closed using a sealing element (7). The sealing element (7) is prestressed in the closed position that seals the outlet (6) and can be displaced against the prestressing force into a release position. An actuating element (8) is provided for displacing the sealing element (7). Said actuating element is temporarily subjected to the force of the flushing water in such a way that the sealing element (7) adopts the release position. An impingement area (9) is provided on the actuating element (8) for this purpose. The actuating element (8) is configured as a single-arm lever, hinged at one end on the retaining element (2) and the sealing element (7) is located on the actuating element (8), between the end that is hinged on the retaining element (2) and the impingement area (9).
