[origin: WO0241439A1] The invention relates to a contact arrangement for current-limiting protective circuit breakers for use in the low voltage range, especially for current-limiting power circuit breakers. The aim of the invention is to achieve a more favorable progression of the contact force over the overtravel, said overtravel occurring due to the wear of the contact, of a contact arrangement (2) in which a rotary contact bridge (10) is suspended with a fictitious rotational axis inside an actuating shaft (6) by means of contact force springs (24). The first ends of the contact force springs (24) are connected to sliding elements (22), which are mounted inside recesses (20) of the actuating shaft (6) and which press against control cams (32) of the contract bridge (10). The second ends (30) of the contact force springs (24) are mounted on the actuating shaft (6) in a non-displaceable manner, and the sliding elements (22) are in constant contact with the control cams (32).
