[origin: WO0241346A1] The invention relates to a contact arrangement for current-limiting protective circuit breakers for use in the low voltage range, especially for current-limiting power circuit breakers. The aim of the invention is to achieve a more favorable progression of the contact force over the overtravel, said overtravel occurring due to the wear of the contact, of a contact arrangement (2) in which a rotary contact bridge (10) is suspended with a fictitious rotational axis inside an actuating shaft (6) by means of contact force springs (20). The first ends (24) of the contact force springs (20) are fastened to the contact bridge (10) in a diametrically opposed manner. The second ends (30) of the contact force springs (20) are displaceably mounted inside elongated recesses (26) of the contact bridge (10) and are equipped with sliding elements (28), which are in constant contact with control cams (32) formed in the actuating shaft (6).
