[origin: EP1334829A2] The mechanism to give the side alignment to sheets, at a sheet fed rotary printing press, has a grip system (4) linked to a drawing bar (6) with an axial sliding movement in the cylinder (1). A rotary uncoupling (8) is at the outer end, which works with a setting shaft (11) moved axially by the setting unit (14). The setting unit is a linear actuator, with a setting motor (22). A setting threading (12) is between the motor shaft (13) and the setting shaft, to convert the motor shaft rotation into a linear movement.
