The take down rifle (1) has a stock (40), a forepiece (30) and a barrel (20). The barrel is releasably connected with the stock. The forepiece is releasably connected to the stock by a catch. The catch has a spring loaded detent piston which is released by an actuator. The piston drive the locking balls into the locking position.

Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Gewehr (1) umfassend einen Hinterschaft (40), einen Vorderschaft (30) und einen Lauf (20), wobei der Lauf (20) lösbar mit dem Hinterschaft (40) verbindbar ist, und wobei durch Verriegelung des Vorderschaftes (30) mit dem Hinterschaft (40) durch eine Riegeleinrichtung (50) der Lauf (20) am Hinterschaft (40) fixierbar ist, und wobei die Riegeleinrichtung (50) federbelastet ist, wobei zur Entriegelung die Feder (60) durch ein Betätigungsglied (57) gestaucht wird. <IMAGE>
