Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1335330A2] The unlocking system for a vehicle includes a portable device (2) and a circuit (10) for interrogation of the object. These elements are supplied with power by an emergency circuit (18) which is separate from the main vehicle supply. This ensures that the lock system can be operated, regardless of the main vehicle battery state. The unlocking system for a vehicle includes a portable device (2) which offers an identification. The system also includes a circuit (10) for interrogation of the object, the circuit supplying power to the portable device and interrogating the object when it is outside the vehicle. The interrogation circuit provides a signal authorising the unlocking of the doors of the vehicle as a function of the identification provided. The interrogation circuit and the portable device are supplied with power by an emergency circuit (18) which is separate from the main vehicle supply. The unlocking signal emitted by the interrogation circuit is applied to the unlocking mechanism (20) which is also powered by the emergency source.
