Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1335405A2] The fluorescent lamp has a bulb whose inner wall is coated with fluorescent material, an air tight sealed discharge chamber containing a gas mixture, electrodes and a starting arrangement. The gas mixture consists of the rare gases xenon, argon and neon and contains no mercury.
