[origin: WO0242190A1] The invention relates to a device for linking two webs of material (11, 16), each rolled up on a roll of material, especially webs of paper, during web-roll changing without stopping. Said device comprises a linking device (02, 07) for linking, especially gluing, the fresh web of material (16) with the expiring web of material (11), and a cutting device (03, 24) for severing the expiring web of material, thereby producing two web ends. The cutting device (03, 24) is disposed downstream of the linking device (02, 07) when seen in the direction of conveyance of the expiring web of material.
