[origin: WO0242275A1] The invention relates to 2-aryl-5-trifluoromethylpyridines of general formula (I) wherein the variables R<1>, R<2> have the following meaning: R<1> is NH2 or CH3; R<2> is halogen; and wherein the variables m, R<1>, R<2>, R<3>, R<4>, R<5>, R<6> and X have the same meaning as cited in claim 1 and the salts thereof which are compatible with agriculture.
