The apparatus (1) for conditioning disposable syringes (2) comprises a lower truncated cone shaped first portion (14), an upper truncated cone shaped second portion (15), a central cylindrical third portion (17) and a cylindrical guide tube (24), all extending along a path (P) followed by a stopper (7) moving towards a syringe (2) under the driving action of a plunger. The cylindrical third portion (17) has a plurality of outlet openings (19) for an inert gas (20) supplied by a pressurised source (22). <IMAGE>
