Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1336709A1] A journal (24) is secured to a side wall of each drawer (2, 3). A guide rail (8) is secured to the furniture frame (1). A holder (18, 18a) is associated with each journal and can be moved between two stops (15, 30) in the guide rail along an adjustment axis (19), the holders being supported against each other in the axial direction. A spring (16) is urged against the first stop (15) and directly against one of the holders so that all of these holders are urged against the second stop (30). A catch part (21, 21a) is associated with each holder and can be pivoted between a locking position when the drawer is pushed in and an open position when the drawer is pulled out. An adjustment space (23) which can receive the journal is used to pivot the catch part by moving the drawer and is open on the side facing the first stop when the catch part is in the locking position. The catch part is axially supported against the spring directly via an adjustment contour (25) and when the catch part is in the open position all the holders are supported directly against the first and second stops, preventing an axial displacement and also preventing the other catch parts from being pivoted. A central lock unit (33) cooperates with the holder so that when it is moved from the open position into the locked position all the holders are urged against the first stop and against the force of the spring.
